I Dream Africa

Namibian Culture has seen the influence of various cultures of the world, mostly dependent upon the nations that established their rule over the country throughout it's short history. For many years, Namibians struggled as a result of race and culture discrimination. After gaining independence in 1991, from apartheid South Africa, Namibia could finally come out of the shadows of foreign culture.

All Namibians strive to develop the national culture on the basis of "Unity in Diversity" and it solely aims at mutual understanding, tolerance and respect in terms of national integrity.
