I Dream Africa

Opuwo is situated in the heart of the former Kaokoland, now the northern part of the Kunene Region, and is the capital of the extreme north-western Namibia. This part of Namibia is the traditional home of the Himba people, who are nomads and have been living their traditional lifestyles up to this very day.

Opuwo is a rather drab town, but an important administrative capital with important facilities such as a clinic, schools, airport and all kinds of suppliers.
