Namibia Wild Fishing Challenge Details

One on one in an epic battle between man and fish.

Welcome to the Namibia Wild Fishing Challenge, where you will get hooked on an unbelievable adventurous fishing experience, exclusive to one of Africa’s most beautiful and exciting countries – Namibia.

The Namibia Wild Fishing Challenge gives you the opportunity to catch three of Namibia’s most popular and sought-after game fishes – the Bronze Shark, off Namibia’s rugged west coast, the Bream (or Nembwe), which is a bigger cousin to the Bass and a formidable fresh water predator, and the legendary Tiger Fish in the mighty Zambezi River.

Within an inclusive 9-day package, we will take you on an impressive and daring fishing trip, conducted ethically and in the spirit of the true sport.
Be part of the only real challenge to all fishing enthusiasts around the world who simply cannot miss out on experiencing the limits of extreme fishing at the Namibia Wild Fishing Challenge.

A new experience awaits you:
The Namibia Wild Fishing Challenge not only provides the chance for angling enthusiasts to go after Africa’s three most attractive game fishing species, it also incorporates the African experience of fishing in three total different spectacular environments.

A unique concept within the global angling community. A complete different location and experience for each of the three species. Each location is diverse in its natural environment, ranging from the desolated and imposing Skeleton Coast, to the inland Kwando Delta System. This provides an extreme and action-packed ecological experience, ranging from the Atlantic coastline to the marvelous Namib Desert and from the African Savanna to the lush bush and jungle of Namibia’s north. Witness wildlife in abundance, including some of the largest elephant herds to be found in Africa, together with the remainder of Africa’s “Big Five”.

Behold the mighty Zambezi River, one of Africa’s most impressive rivers. This challenge provides the sport angler with the opportunity to become part of a select group of fisherman, able to catch three of Africa’s dominant predatory fish.

All anglers committing themselves to taking on the challenge will become part of a manifested club in which achievements will be recorded, tales is told and preferential status given to partake in future unique challenges and angling stand-offs.

During each season, starting in July each year, the four best scoring anglers will be invited to attend a season finale that will take place annually during the month of October. This will determine the one and only annual Season Champion, who will make the angling communities around the world jealous.
