Desert Adapted Species Challenge

Join this additional Challenge to get a broader adventure perspective of a extraordinary country, rich of contrasts. This Challenge is especially suited for family members while the angler is completing the Namibia Wild Fishing Challenge.

 

Package Includes:

  • All drinks, beer, wine, local spirits and bottled water
  • Tea, coffee and snacks along the way
  • Meals: Full board from day 1 until day 6
  • All park fees
  • All camping equipment
  • All bedding and towels
  • Guide and back-up staff from day 1 to 6
  • Fuel from day 1 to 6
  • Travel Windhoek - Damaraland (Madisa) - Windhoek

Day 1:

Depart Windhoek for Madisa campsite in Damaraland. Experience a traditional Namibian barbeque dinner. Next morning after breakfast, early departure on first day of Challenge. 

Day 2:

Drive to Palmwag concession where camp is set up already, picnic lunch included along the way. Three-course dinner while camping in the concession.

Day 3:

After a quick health breakfast, morning and afternoon game drive with Rhino trekking and possible lion sighting, back for cooked brunch and three-course dinner.

Day 4:

Move to a different campsite along the Hoanib River to look for desert elephant and lions. Health Breakfast and picnic lunch along the way. Three-course dinner at night.

Day 5:

After a quick health breakfast, morning and afternoon game drive with Rhino trekking and possible lion sighting, back for cooked brunch and three-course dinner.

Day 6:

After a cooked breakfast we leave for Madisa again with a picnic lunch along the way. Overnight at Madisa camp. Traditional Namibian poitjie (stew) prepared on the campfire. Departure next morning for Windhoek.
