Welcome to Anling in Namibia
Each year the Namibian coast gets flooded with anglers that favour what the Atlantic ocean has on offer. The most popular angling times are from November until March. Our National West Coast Recreation area is especially popular for this sport.
Permits and regulations for marine angling are obtainable from the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine resources.
A half day fishing trip can be booked at the coast. The tour includes lunch, drinks and equipment.
Cost: N$ 850.00 for boat fishing & N$ 950.00 for shore fishing
Namibia's interior also offers to possibility of freshwater angling. The Hardap Dam, von Bach Dam, Friedenau Dam and the Naute Dam are situated in Namibia's central and southern regions and are popular angling destinations. The mighty Zambezi River is well loved for the tiger fish.
