Blink once while approaching Tsumkwe and you might miss it, blink twice and you will pass through it without ever knowing. Tsumkwe is the main settlement in Bushmanland>" id="Bushmanland123">Bushmanland and the administrative centre for the surrounding community. Bordering Botswana and the Khaudum National Park, Tsumkwe has a few government offices, houses, a school, a shop and fuel station.
Interesting in the area is a large peculiar looking Baobab tree, the Khaudum Game Park and the Nyae Nyae Pans. These areas are dense with vegetation and the routes are quite difficult and only negotiable by a minimum of two 4x4 vehicles. Therefore we highly recommend to visit the park through the local lodge. You can add this to your enquiries to incorporate a visit to the area. We also offer a specialized "gods must be crazy tour", where interaction with the local ju/'hoansi bushman tribe is possible.
