Khaya Guesthouse

Khaya meaning ‘African Home or Restful Place’. You will find a home at Khaya guesthouse in the garden town of Okahandja.

Enjoy your stay in our spacious en suite thatched roof African fusion style rooms. Laze at the pool or take a short walk to the famous woodcarvers market, savor Namibian cuisine at its best in the lapa restaurant. Taste the sunshine in the local beers and wines in the fully licensed bar or warm yourself at the fire in the boma while marveling at the stars of the Southern skies.

The healthy waters of the Gross Barmen hot springs are just a hop away, game drives in private game reserves are within easy reach and the big cats of Africa can be viewed at close range while feeding. After exploring trails in the area on horseback or by foot or a visit to the resting place of the great Herero chiefs. Be bold and try the biltong and dried sausage for which Okahandja is famous.
